History

Your ancestors slept twice a night

What was pasted

Waking up at 3 a.m. might not be insomnia. For most of human history, it was completely normal. Historian Roger Ekirch spent years reading old court records, diaries and medical books written before electric light. He kept finding the same strange phrase: first sleep, and second sleep.

Why you can't tickle yourself

What was pasted

Try to tickle yourself right now. Nothing happens, right? That's because your brain is a prediction machine. Every time you move, it sends a copy of the command to the cerebellum, which predicts exactly what you are about to feel.

One task to rule the morning

What was pasted

Meet Jake. Every morning his alarm goes off at seven, and every morning he hits snooze three times. He rushes out the door with no breakfast, spills coffee on his shirt, and walks into his nine o'clock meeting five minutes late.

Just want to try? 5 credits for ₹269 make one clean video of up to 5 scenes. Top-ups: 10 credits for ₹449. Credits you buy never expire, and every monthly plan can also be paid once for 30 days, with no auto-renew.

Scene vs video: a scene is one short animated clip with one line of narration; a video is all its scenes (usually about 6) stitched with voice, captions and music. How credits work: 1 credit = one Standard scene. HD = 5 credits a scene, Full HD 1080p = 7, 4K = 17. Previews and renders pay per scene clip they make, and a scene that already has a clip at that quality is reused at no cost, so a preview is never paid twice. Voiceover, captions, music, translation and Update video are free. Prices in INR incl. GST, billed via Razorpay. Annual plans are billed once a year and credits arrive every month. FAQ

Questions, answered.

How long does a video take?+

A few minutes. The scenes render in parallel, then we stitch the voiceover and music into one MP4.

Can I edit it before it renders?+

Yes, that's the whole point. You review and edit the director's plan first, and only use credits (or your free video) when you preview a scene or approve the final render.

What's the difference between a scene and a video?+

A scene is one animated stickman clip with one line of narration. The director writes 4 to 12 of them from your script, usually about 6. A video is all of those scenes stitched together with the voiceover, captions and music into one MP4 of about 40 seconds to 2 minutes. Credits count scenes: 1 credit = 1 Standard scene, so a typical video is about 6 credits. A scene preview pays for that one scene, and its clip is reused when you render the video. Watch an example.

What do I get on the free plan?+

Unlimited script-to-plan and storyboard editing, and 1 free video every month in Standard 720p of up to 5 scenes, with a small watermark. Scene previews are on paid plans. To remove the watermark from your free videos, upgrade to Creator, Pro or Studio: their videos never carry a watermark, and upgrading also clears it from your earlier free videos at no extra cost. A single clean video is ₹449 and Starter is ₹619 a month; their own videos are clean too.

Can I pay yearly?+

Yes. Switch the pricing toggle to Annual and Starter, Creator, Pro or Studio is billed once a year with about 2 months free: ₹6,099 for Starter, ₹10,499 for Creator, ₹25,499 for Pro and ₹51,999 for Studio. Your credits still arrive every month rather than all at once, payment goes through Razorpay (UPI, cards, net banking) and you get a GST invoice.

Do I own the videos?+

Yes. Videos rendered on a paid plan are yours to post and monetise commercially.

Which languages are supported?+

53 narrator languages with 30 studio voices, including English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Bengali, Gujarati, Punjabi and Urdu. On paid plans you can also record or upload your own voice.

What if I don't like the result?+

Edit the plan and try again. Planning is free and unlimited, and scene previews let you check single scenes before you render the whole video. Changing the script, voice or music and choosing Update video is free.
