Compounding, explained with a mango tree

Why growth that earns its own growth starts slow and then speeds up. General education, not advice.

Imagine planting one mango tree. A few years later it gives fruit, and you plant its seeds.

Now you have more trees, and each of them gives seeds too. That is compounding: growth that starts earning its own growth.

Money can work the same way, when the interest it earns is added back and starts earning interest as well.

The early years look slow, almost boring. Then the curve bends upward, because every year builds on a bigger base.

The biggest ingredient is not a large amount. It is time. Starting early, even small, gives growth more years to stack up.

This is general education, not advice. Learn the basics well before you choose where to put your money.
